Claire is 30 years old and works for a start-up founded by two young men, Arthur and Benjamin. While celebrating their first round of fundraising, Benjamin rapes Claire. The young woman breaks down and stays at home, stunned. Until she meets a mysterious dog, a new companion who will give her the strength to get back on her feet and confront her attacker.

After studying screenwriting at the Metropolitan Film School in London, Nyima Cartier returned to France and directed three short films, two of which were produced by Mabel Films: Le Lac and L’Homme silencieux (CNC Quality Award, shortlisted for the 2022 César Awards, broadcast by Canal+). Chien noir, her first feature film (laureate of the Fondation Gan 2025 and developped at the Ateliers d'Angers), is currently in the process of being financed.
